Recruiter at MagicBell [Async Remote]

Responsibilities

  • Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Screen candidates to align with MagicBell's culture and mission
  • Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Promoting the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends, best practices, current job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent.
  • Maintain a database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, hired and fired employees, and other candidate relationships
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with HR and recruiting
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
  • Exceptional communication (orally and in writing), interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Adaptable to new responsibilities and changes in the work environment. There will be new responsibilities that are not listed here; If you do not have previous experience with the task, then have the tenacity to learn and execute the new knowledge.

Nice-to-Have

  • Previously used Gem, Linkedin Recruiter, and Greenhouse
  • Excited about ramping up the team from series A to IPO

The Offer

Location: Fully remote

Hours: Up to 40 hrs/week. While we don't overwork routinely, as a startup, there are times when you need to work beyond your regular work hours or fix something on the weekend. If that is a strict no for you, we suggest not applying.

Flexible work: We require the EST 10 am to 1 pm overlap, and the rest of the time is up to you to manage. Few meetings, mostly asynchronous communication, and other day-to-day details on our blog.

Time off: 30 working days a year (20 PTO and 10 public holidays. You are welcome to take sick days as you need them).

Benefits: Healthcare (with Dental & Vision in the US), paid time off, and an annual all-expense-paid retreat somewhere beautiful. $1k/yr to attend any conferences/events that you find useful.

WFH Support: $5k for computer, standing desk, mic, or anything else you need. Up to $300/mo for a co-working desk. If you need anything else, please ask.
