As our first in-house Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, hiring – and retaining – talented candidates for the founding roles at MagicBell. You will be in charge of planning, developing, and implementing an effective Talent Acquisition strategy for the entire company. This includes working with the founders on building a strong Employer Brand.

A driven Talent Acquisition Partner or Manager, with experience hiring in a tech organization, seeking a role with many hats. Someone that loves candidate outreach as well as Marketing for Recruitment. A humble and passionate person able to listen and support ideas from others, accountable for the larger team, allowing everyone to feel that their work is valued.

What you would be working on:

Working directly with our leaders and hiring managers, you will assist in the creation of competency frameworks determining selection criteria, sourcing potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks), and forecast quarterly/annual hiring needs by department. Our state-of-the-art ATS will allow you to deep dive into data analytics to help solve problems we may encounter as a team when scaling and retaining. You will also work closely with our TA and Marketing teams to develop our consistently changing EVP branding content and communications. 

Working closely with the team, helping others to work efficiently, constantly experimenting with new ideas and optimizing existing ones, you will assist in the constant improvement of our processes and policies. 

Your Experience:

  • A minimum experience of 4 years as a Talent Acquisition Manager in an in-house role (not agency).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience managing job posting sites and professional social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of various interviewing methods.

Hiring Process:

We understand that interviews can be tough and we want to see the best from all our candidates. The first point of contact will be with our internal Talent Acquisition team, either F2F, Video chat, or by phone, whatever makes you feel most comfortable. We will provide space for you to ask questions and get feedback from the whole process. If we both feel a connection you will meet with our Team Leads and subsequently our C-Suite to discuss the role and how you would approach it.
