Frequently Asked Questions
How do I test Amazon SES email delivery?
Enter your AWS Access Key ID, Secret Access Key, and region above, provide a verified sender and recipient email, then click Send Notification. The tool calls the SES SendEmail API and shows you the full response.
What is the SES sandbox?
New SES accounts start in sandbox mode, which limits sending to verified email addresses only. To send to any address, request production access through the AWS console. In sandbox mode, both sender and recipient must be verified.
How do I verify an email address in Amazon SES?
Go to the SES console, click Verified Identities, then Create Identity. Enter the email address and click Create. AWS sends a verification email — click the link to confirm. You can also verify entire domains via DNS records.
